Edward Gauvin
Edward Gauvin is an American writer, translator, and independent scholar specializing in contemporary French-language literature, comics, and speculative fiction. A Guggenheim Fellow, he has translated hundreds of graphic novels as well as works of prose fiction, and his writing and translations have appeared in McSweeney's, the New York Times, Harper's, The Guardian, Subtropics, and Words Without Borders. His work has been generously supported by Art Omi, PEN America, the NEA, the Lannan Foundation, the Fulbright Program, and the French and Belgian governments. His fiction debut, The Ear in All the Night, is forthcoming from 7.13 Books.
